A LAND OF FIRE is Book #12 in the Bestselling series THE SORCERER'S RING, which begins with A QUEST OF HEROES (book #1)!

In A LAND OF FIRE (BOOK #12 IN THE SORCERER’S RING), Gwendolyn and her people find themselves surrounded on the Upper Isles, besieged by Romulus’ dragons and his million man army. All seems lost—when salvation comes from an unlikely source.

Gwendolyn is determined to find her baby, lost at sea, and to lead her nation-in-exile to a new home. She travels across foreign and exotic seas, encountering unthinkable dangers, rebellion and starvation, as they sail for dream of a safe harbor.

Thorgrin’s finally meets his mother in the Land of the Druids, and their meeting will change his life forever, make him stronger than he has ever been. With a new quest, he embarks, determined to rescue Gwendolyn, to find his baby, and to fulfill his destiny. In an epic battle of dragons and of men, Thor will be tested in every way; as he battles monsters and lays down his life for his brothers, he will dig deeper to become the great warrior he was meant to be.

In the Southern Isles, Erec lies dying, and Alistair, accused of his murder, must do what she can to both save Erec and absolve herself of guilt. A civil war erupts in a power struggle for the throne, and Alistair finds herself caught in the middle, with her fate, and Erec’s, hanging in the balance.

Romulus remains intent on destroying Gwendolyn, Thorgrin, and what remains of the Ring; but his moon cycle is coming to an end, and his power will be severely tested.

Meanwhile, in the Northern province of the Empire, a new hero is rising: Darius, a 15 year old warrior, who is determined to break off the chains of slavery and rise up amongst his people. But the Northern Capitol is run by Volusia, a 18 year old girl, famed for her beauty—and famed also her barbaric cruelty.

Will Gwen and her people survive? Will Guwayne be found? Will Romulus crush the Ring? Will Erec live? Will Thorgrin return in time?

With its sophisticated world-building and characterization, A LAND OF FIRE is an epic tale of friends and lovers, of rivals and suitors, of knights and dragons, of intrigues and political machinations, of coming of age, of broken hearts, of deception, ambition and betrayal. It is a tale of honor and courage, of fate and destiny, of sorcery. It is a fantasy that brings us into a world we will never forget, and which will appeal to all ages and genders.

Books #13--#14 in the series are now also available!

“A great plot, and this especially was the kind of book you will have trouble putting down at night. The ending was a cliffhanger that was so spectacular that you will immediately want to buy the next book, just to see what happens.”

The twelfth book in this series and I cannot believe the book ended so quickly. An incredible journey begins again, with this installment. Morgan Rice has created a great story with so many twists and turns, the pages turn themselves. As characters die new ones take their place seem to develop the story even deeper into this world created by the author. I think this series could go on for many more installments. I think there are many great stories yet to be told in this series and look forward to them all. At times I cannot believe I have read all of the books by Morgan Rice let alone 12 books in this series and I cannot wait for number 13. Keep them coming!

I have read every one of Morgan's books and I hope she continues to write the series. I started the 3rd week of January and just kept reading until I finished book 10. I could hardly wait for this one to come out. I am a senior and I found this series kept me wanting more and more of the characters and the plot to thicken. It contrasts David in the Bible out tending his sheep and then having to run for his life. Thoroughly enjoying every aspect. Karen

Morgan Rice continues to weave a remarkable story of fantasy and mystery.
I have learned from the previous 11 books in this saga, to make sure that I set aside enough time to
read each book in it's entirety. A Land of Fire was no exception.  The characters are interesting and the
story is fast paced, which kept me turning pages from the first page until the last.  As with all good
stories, the last page comes too soon.  So, I am anxiously awaiting the next part of the story, Book 13.
I am also curious how Darius fits in with Thor and Alistair as the story unfolds.
Thanks again for a great saga, Morgan.

Can't wait for the continuation in this series. I'm patiently waiting for book #13, which I am positive will be providing us with many more great twists in the tale of Thor and his friends. Besides, Dragons, they make everything infinitely better. Keep up the great works and shrug the haters!

    Annoyed

Ther is seriousley another book,!? Im not reading it, not ever I am so boered of it rice did a fantastic job with the first 1 the second was in the middle and they just went downhill from there. You hardley get to read about the main character she is to caught up in the romance and drama of the side characters rice is dragging on the sries if she had just ended the books at around book 4 or 5 I would have been content. But honestly she has to write more and more of these dumb books another thing, she has made a fun fantasy read into a stupid romance, 11 year olds pick this up on their nook because in sounded good, but little do they know 4 books later gwen and thor are already doing it
