Meet the Author

I am a middle-aged man, born and raised in Louisiana and now living in Georgia. Married with two children, my wife and I have been together for 30 years. I've been writing for fun for the past 15 years and got serious about it in the last four. I am extremely excited about Smashwords. I landed a literary agent three years ago but he has had no luck in getting my work published so I'm releasing one of my books on E-format. The other six will be forthcoming in the next few months. My niece did the artwork for the book cover of A Song for Daddy.

I really enjoyed this. It is over 1000 pages and great sci-fi action adventure. Not for kids, but a very well developed story line, interesting characters, great battles and decription of the environment with out over doing it. There were a few lulls, but generally a page turner. I am definately getting the next book in the series and will be watching for new releases from this author.

Enjoyed the book very much and am looking forward to reading the sequel. Can't agree with the negative comments about the book. It had me hooked from the get-go.

    Pass

I forced myself to read to page 200 and just could not go on. Way too much detailed violent fights and not enough plot. In fact, the violence seemed to be the whole purpose of the story.

The author uses the 'why use 10 words when you can use 50' writing method. Really bogged down the storyline to the point that it was hard to find the story.

The author did a great job of grabbing and holding your attention the whole time. Really liked it and will be reading the others. Other planets and space travel usually are not of interest to me but sure not this one.
