Thank goodness that Leroy Anderson's Suites of Carols are finally available on CD. While his "Christmas Festival" has been available on CD for a few years, this is the first release on CD of Anderson's three arrangments of Christmas carols for strings, brass & woodwinds. Anyone who enjoys Leroy Anderson's original compositions will love his arrangements of these familiar holiday favorites.

I have always loved the music of Leroy Anderson. His original compositions are some of my favorite music of all time. I am also very fond of his arranging style, which is very distinctive. The transitions from one carol to the next within each suite are superb. Once again, this Anderson recording features his own hand-picked studio orcestra made up of some of NYC's finest musicians. I am so glad that these beautiful carols which Anderson so meticulously arranged are finally available on compact disc.
