Review: A Light in the Heart of Darkness, The Guardian Heart Crystal Series by Amy Blankenship is a paranormal, fantasy, romance novel. This is the fourth book in The Guardian Heart Series but these books don't need to be read in order, all of them are stand alone novels. I don't usually give 5 stars so when I do, I have thoroughly enjoyed it. The fact that I gave all the books in this series a 5 is incredible. Usually it is very hard to compete with previous books, but "Oh Baby", all of them are really, really good, great, OUTSTANDING! Every story is so very unique and so different, fast paced, exciting and loaded with suspense. I couldn't pick a favourite if I wanted to. They all have their individual speciality. The Guardian Heart Crystal Series is about a young human woman, Kyoko, reincarnated from the Maiden of the Guardian Heart Crystal. A Priestess, which travels through time and paradox along with the Guardian's of the crystal. Each of the Guardian's and their Priestess are drawn together and all love each other in their own special way. A Light in the Heart of Darkness is Kotaro, the last of his race, Lycan prince and Koyoko's romantic relationship. The fight against good and evil in this story keeps you on your toes, biting your nails and just awed and then you get more. The scenes are vivid with detail and cleverly draws you and captures your attention. Rate: 5 out of 5 Reviewed by Pam For RWR
