Overview

Comic verse in the great tradition of Edward Lear and Lewis Carroll, with over 100 full colour cartoon illustrations.

Once upon a time I tried to write serious illustrated poetry. When I realised that I was looking like a bad version of William Blake I decided not to take the subject seriously.
I started to write these poems in 2007 amongst the absurdity of our modern world. There was a problem finding an illustrator so I decided to do the illustrations myself. I then realised that my drawings were so bad that they gave hope to budding illustrators, so this was a positive outcome.

A little book of Stupid People was quite easy to write as there was an abundance of material to source. The stupid people did a great job.

All characters are fictitious and no responsibility is given for lack of sleep or gross stupidity.
