For fans of Jill Shalvis and Kristan Higgins, a sweet, small-town romance about writing your own happy ending...

Kira Andersen’s professional instinct for a story has never led her wrong. So when she learns of a famous writer hiding in plain sight in a tiny New England town, she can’t resist following the trail. The only problem is everyone in Harvest Cove seems intent on keeping her from tracking down the elusive author—especially a handsome distraction who’s making it very hard to focus on the job...

Henry “Fitz” Fitzroy has no intention of letting a nosy journalist uncover his alter-ego as superstar writer Malcom Roy. Only Kira’s persistence is hard to deny—as is his own attraction to her. The more time he spends with her, the more he discovers he’d give almost anything to keep her in his life. But as work and play become inexorably entwined for Kira and Fitz, they realize that getting what they want for their careers might mean losing everything their hearts desire...

A Little More Love by Kendra Leigh Castle is the 5th & final book in her Harvest Cove series. Once again Castle gives us another wonderful sweet romance that takes place in a small town, with friends and family surrounding them. I am sad to this series end. In A Little More Love, Seth’s (he was previous hero) sister, Kira, comes to Harvest Cove to visit, and to investigate a rumor that will help her journalistic career. Fitz, our hero, does a favor for Seth and picks up Kira to bring her to stay at Emma’s (previous heroine) apartment. Both of them feel an immediate attraction, but as soon Kira mentions the name Malcolm Roy, a bestselling author, who is rumored to living secretly in Harvest Cove, they both begin to disagree on privacy issues. Kira is happy to see her brother and his future bride, and slowly begins to enjoy the atmosphere and friendship in Harvest Cove. No matter how much they try to avoid each other, both Kira and Fitz find themselves together at most functions, and their attraction becomes stronger. While Kira questions residents about their knowledge of Malcom Roy, she senses that most of Seth’s friends clam up and determines they know who he is. What we learn almost at the start is that Fitz is Malcolm Roy and this is the main reason he tries to avoid Kira. Fitz does not want his life to change, and is determined to keep his identity private. But he cannot resist Kira, and soon their relationship becomes one with benefits, which they figure will only last for a month until she goes home. Slowly Fitz begins to realize that perhaps he needs to stop hiding, and he wants to trust Kira, not to mention he is falling in love with her. Kira decides the best way to find Malcolm Roy is to email him, and slowly they start talking about his books through those emails. In a short time, Kira becomes excited that by the end of the month he will grant her an exclusive interview. Kira becomes enchanted with life in Harvest Cove, and she also realizes that she is in love Fitz. What follows is a sweet romance that will be put through the wringer at times with secrets, betrayal and trust. Will Kira forgive Fitz for his secrecy? Will Fitz be able to keep Kira in Harvest Cove? Kendra Leigh Castle once again has given us a wonderful story with a great couple we loved from the start. Fitz and Kira were such a good couple, having so much in common; sexy hot chemistry, love of games and dogs. Speaking of dogs, I loved Norm, the drooling lovable dog, whom everyone loved. A Little More Love was a fun romantic read. If you have not read this series, I suggest you do so, as it has lots of great characters, sexy romances and fun stories.

Kira Andersen is visiting her twin brother Seth for his upcoming wedding in Massachusetts, the fact that she also has a writing assignment for the prestigious Squared magazine, is an added bonus. Coming off from a bad break-up and losing her job at a newspaper almost simultaneously was hard, but if she manages to get an exclusive article on the elusive and reclusive Malcom Roy, famous fantasy author, her future will look much brighter. Seth was supposed to pick up Kira at the airport, but he cannot and in his stead, he has sent a friend of his, Henry “Fitz” Fitzroy. Fitz and Kira hit it off immediately; they seem to like the same things, read the same books, even play the same games. Fitz doesn’t date much, and he sees distinct possibilities in adding sparks to his life until Kira mentions the purpose of her month-long visit because Fitz is Malcom Roy! A LITTLE MORE LOVE is simply put a joy to read! Kira is effervescent and so much fun, and Fitz! How irresistible can a man who actually blushes be? He is a still the geek he always was, he is a bit tongue-tied around the bubbly Kira, and he is utterly charming and sweet! Kira and Fitz share some of the most delectable banter I have read in quite a while; natural-sounding exchanges that do not consist of endless innuendos. They are just so cute together that I feared when “the revelation” would come, as this often drags on forever with silly misunderstandings and unnecessary unpleasantness, and I could hug and kiss Kendra Leigh Castle for not succumbing to those inanities! This is called perfect timing, perfect pacing, and respecting the reader’s intelligence. The writing is fluid and so effortless, you simply feel you are part of the story, the characters are extremely well-drawn, and there are oodles of little details that make you feel part of Harvest Cove. We also get to meet several characters, some who have been featured in previous instalment of this series, and even newcomers to Harvest Cove will be delighted at meeting Kira’s and Fitz’s friends and family. Kendra Leigh Castle was a new author to me, and I will definitely be looking forward to reading more of her books, because A LITTLE MORE LOVE is absolutely delightful from beginning to end! This, my friends, is what a light, pleasant, clever and witty, perfectly crafted contemporary romance truly is! I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
