A Love Beyond Time

Overview

Being with him had always excited her. Whenever she felt her lips on his, it was like the end of the world where nothing else mattered but this moment only. As she pulled herself away from the kiss, her mind became foggy. She needed a few minutes to recompose herself after pulling away from such a passionate kiss. He was still looking at her, unable to take his eyes off her glistening skin. He told himself he could wait as long as she was his. Heck, he could even wait until the end of time. They continued their walk, though there was a growing tension between them. Their warm palms were clutched together. The tension was not suffocating but inviting and alluring. She suddenly halted outside a tattoo parlor and told him that she wanted to get a tattoo done.
"Now?" he asked, amused by her utter excitement.
"Yes, now." The determination in her voice only left him more animated.
"What kind of a tattoo?" he asked.
"A phoenix rising from the ashes because what I thought I had lost, I have found again," she said, staring at his lips

About the Author

I was born in Warsaw, the capital city of Poland. However, after living just two years of my initial life, I came to the States. A big reason for this move was my father's employment at the IMF. Since then, I started living in MD and went through my entire primary education there. After finishing up high school, I went to Marymount University in Arlington, VA.
Always interested in people’s behavior and how they thought or felt, I took up a major in a subject that would help me learn all about it – Psychology. I then received my BA in Psychology from Marymount University and decided to continue my education abroad.
What better country than my very own to pursue further studies? So, I moved back to Warsaw, Poland, and received an MA in Psychology. After finishing my studies, I decided to return to the US and took up permanent residence here.
