>>I have been waiting two years for this book and I am not disappointed! McKenna is such an interesting character, very unlike any other. At almost 961 pages you really get a full story and your moneys worth. There are problematic misspellings throughout the book- causing you to have to reread sentences, also, some puntuatiin errors. However, the story is interesting and characters developed so well you care about them. The writing feels a bit like early works from Laurrell K Hamilton. Cannot wait for the next book- just hope it is not another two years!

Love how the were/witch/Sukjan aspects blend to make an amazing character who has many strengths. It is hard to fid a book that has both well developed characters and a well developed and exciting plot. Absolutely love this series and can hardly wait for the next.

The book was okay. I was a bit disappointed bc I loved the 1st book. I liked how Ms. Davidson separates humans and the supernatural creatures. I really liked McKenna's char., she's tough but has a sense of humor. My problems were, we never found out why Angus comes back? He just does. Not a lot of interaction w/Ted & his daughter, they were targeted because of McKenna, and end up staying w/her but what will they do after. I didn't understand the whole poem thing and why they targeted Alphas, but wanted her to think it was Willow? A lot of questions, not many answers. The story felt rushed. In the last book McKenna could speak with ghosts, but in this book she didn't. Lots of spelling errors, punctuation errors. The whole "mate" thing between her & Gabriel became forced. He's an intelligent man so he should understand she has to answer to a goddess. She says she was cursed by a witch not to remember her soulmate, but at the end we find out it was the Goddess, who did this. I think Ms. Davidson as shown in the 1st book has a lot of potential, but needs to make sure the previous story line is kept thru the 2nd book, and make sure all loose ends are tied.

It had two floors and a basement. Blue crystals sprouted out of the ground on her lawn. It was a shadowy house.

This is book two by Kerry Davidson. This book has 661 pages. Some of the old characters from the first book and new ones in this book. I love this series, keeps you on the edge of your seat and hard to put down. Well worth the money. Can't wait to read more by this author.

Awesome except the ending, which really isnt an ending at all! Amazing action, fast moving, not too bogged down with un necessary detail but the cliff- hanger ending is a real turn off without a book three waiting in the wings! I'll be anxiously waiting!
