    Angela Shikany

A lovely addition to a great series. You need to have read the previous books to fully appreciate this. This series is one of the best of theromance genre. This specific story catches us up on everyone and is quite exciting and sensual. If only all of us could have our own Mackenzie. Undoubtedly the hottest and sweetest heroes ever created.

The Mackenzie Family Christmas is a terrific novella just in time for Christmas. The story focuses around the Mackenzie family waiting for Eleanor and Hart's first baby to be born and finding the perfect gifts for each other, with the entire family pitching in to help find a replacement Ming bowl for Ian when his is broken leaving his wife, Beth, heartbroken.

If you've read the first four of the Highland Pleasures series, then the Mackenzie Family Christmas is a must read. We get to catch up with the wild Mackenzie men (especially my personal favorite, Lord Ian) and their captivating brides, babies and extended families from the first four books.

I wouldn't recommend reading it as a stand-alone as it contains a lot of spoilers. But if you're looking for a new historical romance series, then start Highland Pleasures. The Mackenzie men are strong, hot, and determined in their pursuits. The ladies aren't shrinking violets and content to let the men call all the shots...they hold their own against the fierce Mackenzies. The series is full of humor, action, and hot romance. The Seduction of Elliot McBride, Book 5, comes out December 31, 2012.

I loved all four previous Mackenzie books and was so happy to find this Christmas story. It was wonderful! I read it in less than a day. All the Mackenzie family is featured along with extended family and friends. Now I'm primed for the next book, THE SEDUCTION OF ELLIOT MCBRIDE, due out at the end of this month.

    Good read

There were a lot of characters to keep track of, but they are all unique enough that it wasn't too difficult. I loved all the redemption and deep relationships. Definitely worth reading!

Mackenzie Family Christmas brought all the Mackenzie siblings, spouses and children together for the holiday.  It was an entertaining story where the readers could easily feel the affection the family had for each other.  Since I had not read anything else in this series, I was a bit confused with all the characters.

Overall I felt that Jennifer Ashley this story wrote well.  I was actually nervous sometimes, wondering if or when Ian might lose it.  Again, since I haven't read anything else about Ian, I imagine he has asbergers and is not actually mad.

    Brilliant!

A Mackenzie Family Christmas: The Perfect Gift is an amazing Christmas novella that wasn't too short, wasn't too long - in fact it is perfect in every way! I can't seem to find the right words to express how much I loved this story! And how could I not? Spending the Christmas with the Mackenzies is pure bliss! This holiday tale is delightful, romantic, heartwarming, sexy... all the things we've come to love about those Mackenzies, and then some! Seeing the family and how their love for one another just keeps growing warmed my heart. There's nothing they wouldn't do for each other and I adore that about them. Hart and El, Cam and Ainsley, Mac and Izzy and of course, Ian and Beth... spending this time with them was a perfect addition to my holiday reading and I loved every word, every sentence, every page... And then there's Daniel! The boy we all fell in love with is growing into quite the man, one whose story is sure to be every bit as exciting as his father's! Inspector Fellows, the illegitimate Mackenzie... every time I see him I love him more! And the McBride brothers... wow. There are some great stories there, and I can't wait to read them! See? I can't find the words to tell you, coherently, how wonderful The Perfect Gift is! But trust me on this - if you're a fan of those Mackenzies, don't waste a single moment thinking about whether or not to buy this book - just do it. You will be so glad that you did!
