More About This Book

Overview

It was as if God himself had scripted the life of James and his family. He had a beautiful wife and a son with athletic ability's and smarts that made them one of the smartest kids in the school. James was a powerful man in the Carolina's. He owned several businesses but his construction company was his biggest money maker. His investments assured his family would always be wealthy. He had political connections that reached all the way to the White House. Things couldn't be going better, he was invincible, or so it seemed. In the twinkling of an eye their lives would change. A deep dark family secret that drove a wedge between Warsow to the brinks of destruction. The family starts unraveling when Marie was rushed to the hospital with a life threatening illness. Warsow is changed forever. He seemed to be in a self destruct mode. After several incidents or accidents that put him on a Mad Man's death list. He still didn't seem to care. He finds love in the form of music. It's the only thing that fills the void. He quickly becomes a phenom like his superstar mother and father. A quick rise to the top brings out all his old friends and enemies alike. Enemies that only wanted one thing; to spit on his grave. The past had come to back to haunt him. Hating knew no dimensions as his enemies pursued him. In order to survive he had to dig a few hole's himself. James had to pull a few strings and favors from the powers that be. But eventually Warsow would run out of luck. He had been to the well too often. He had danced to the music literally. Now it was time for him to pay the piper.

This is a coming of age story about a young man born into an affluent family. Upon learning a family secret, he begins a journey of self-destruction. He used his family's status to help him avoid a lot of consequences resulting from his behavior. Unfortunately, he never learned any lessons and continued along his path. The characters in the book are people you know. Each reader should be able to relate to someone in this book. I hope that the author reuses some of these characters in future novels.
