A man conceived in the past and living in the present. . .

A woman in need calling him back. . .

Where and when does his destiny lie?

Current Day. . . .

Douglas MacKendimen grew up listening to his parents’ fantastical tales of their journey to the past and has never believed a word of it. Caught up in the stressful world of practicing medicine, the strange dreams during restless nights should not surprise him—but the woman calling to him does. The dreams intensify as he returns to Scotland for a family gathering.

Dunnedin, Scotland, 1370

Caitlin, daughter of the MacKendimen Clan healer, has even greater abilities than her mother and can heal with only her touch. Her power is growing as she tends to her kith and kin, but is drawn to a man in her dreams. When he appears and saves her life, she believes they are meant to be together. The truth – that he is from the future and must return destroys all her hopes. She cannot abandon her clan to be with him and he must leave.

Secrets of the past and future threaten to destroy them as Douglas and Caitlin’s love grows. When the fates are against them, it’s just a matter of time before they will be forced to choose whether to follow their hearts’ desires or to remain apart forever.

A MATTER OF TIME is a full-length time-travel romance, previously published in print by Berkley/Jove in 1999 and now revised and re-released in digital formats by the author.

Editorial Reviews

Olivia Holton
Once again, Terri Brisbin takes us on a romantic and sensual journey through Medieval Scotland as she vividly brings to life the small village and people of Dunnedin. A MATTER OF TIME blends fantasy and romance with a story that is rich in Scottish tradition and passionate in the telling!
Jody Allen
A MATTER OF TIME is a well developed and executed sequel to tlast year's popular A LOVE THROUGH TIME. Readers will enjoy seeing many of the secondary characters they met and enjoyed in the first book: not mere appearances but are artfully developed into the plot. The greatest strength in this offering is the transformation of the hero who has doubts: where he is and where he is going. Yet, through Ms Brisbin's unique talent he is able to overcome them and have a love that both he and his heroine

Not what I was expecting in the ending of this trilogy. I liked

Not what I was expecting in the ending of this trilogy. I liked books one and two better, this was still good. It is a better deal to buy the 3 books bundle. Our character's from book one are only mentioned briefly in this book, but the main ones from book 2 have a little bigger role. This is a unique take on time travel that was refreshing. I won't go into the plot as it has been stated, but this is still a good read. (ljb)
