****4 Stars John H. Carroll's book A New Pet in the Family was created for readers to see the value and fun into having a pet in the family, December 6, 2014 ********************** This review is from: A New Pet in the Family (Kindle Edition) John H. Carroll's book A New Pet in the Family was created for readers to see the value and fun into having a pet in the family. The illustrations were colorful and bright. The storyline was interesting in part. The author found it challenging to introduce dragons and other such animals that would never be apart of a family. Then with the introduction of the cat, he prepared the child and family for the new pet. This story will help readers adjust to pets. Sometimes there is a struggle with getting a new pet for a child. They can believe they will not longer receive all the care and attention. Good intro for a new pet to a family.
