Overview

“You’re going to be a famous writer one day, baby. Watch what I tell ya.” Big Momma’s ancient words lingered in her head; ached down in her bones. Plagued by her parents' murder suicide, haunted by dreams, Police Officer Ginger Ann Montgomery has plenty to write about. The rough draft to her first manuscript complete, Ginger can taste the New York Times Best Seller’s List.

Envious of her partner’s announcement to wed his dingbat girlfriend of six months, Ginger heads to a call – a simple 9-1-1 hang up, silently questioning her lengthy relationship with Detective Caleb Arrington. Worthy enough to co-own their pricey estate, beautiful enough to flaunt like a trophy, yet unfit to wear the Arrington name. But this routine call answered a gazillion times is anything but simple. The 9-1-1 hang up turns out to be the deadliest call in the history of the police department.

Four cops shot; three laid dead. Now the Police Department and FBI shared a common goal, backed by American’s Most Wanted: Capture the serial killer name Felicia Payne.
Riddled with guilt as the one lone survivor, Ginger finds herself in the arms of another. One willing to fulfill the cravings Caleb ignored. One who takes her hand and lures her down a path where she unites with a fate similar to her mother’s.

*sighs* let me first start off by stating that I love Ms. Traci

*sighs* let me first start off by stating that I love Ms. Traci Bee's writing! I loved Two Tears and Anothe Tear both really great books in my opinion, so when I heard that she was brining out another book before she set forth with finishing the Tear series I just knew that this book was going to be really good.

I started this book on Friday and just finished it today a Tuesday and it just usually never takes me that long to read a book but i really pushed and forced myself to finish so that I can leave an honest review.. and honestly it wasnt as good as i thought it was going to be or as good as i expected it to be.

I felt that the book was well written meaning there werent many errors i did notice a few but it wasnt a ton so it was well written. This story is way different from the Tears, way way different. In the beginning it seemed like alot of confusion it was like one character and then the other character then the characters together then a character with someone else it was a bit confusing and seemed just a little over the place. its like the scenes quickly change and then go back to the same scene like for an example towards the end the character was in the hospital then looking at her home ceiling then back in the hospital because she had never left makes it confusing and makes the book seem all over the place. The book didnt have the smoothness im use to seeing from Traci Bee.

The big twist in the story kind of annoyed me i was like wow i guess if you could have saw my face smh i wont say what it was i just guess you have to read it to see. The ending to me also seemed rushed there was no POW BAM major ending like you would expect it was just like yea im finished.

Since I enjoy this writer I will still be getting the Final Tear because Im sure thats going to be good, but i just couldnt get into the A Nickel for a Kiss story, it just seemed to be doing to much for me in terms of flip flopping back and forth.
