THIS IS CLASSIC EDDIE "THE SHEIK" KOCHAK!

I LOVE EDDIE "THE SHEIK" KOCHAK! HE HAS MANY MORE ALBUMS ALL WITH FUN, ORIGINAL, AND CLASSIC BELLY DANCE MUSIC. HE WAS BORN, RAISED, AND EDUCATED IN BROOKLYN, NY. HIS MUSIC IS AN AMERICAN ORGINAL. MUCH OF IT WAS IN COLLABORATION WITH HAKKI OBADIA. KOCHAK IS AN AMERICAN MASTER. HE MAY NOT BE WELL KNOWN, BUT HE WORKED WITH MANY FAMOUS ARTISTS OF HIS DAY. HE PLAYED FOR SUCH DANCERS AS IBRAMIM FARRAH, (EDITOR OF ARABESQUE MAGAZINE,) AND HIS DANCE CO., AS WELL AS MANY OTHER DANCERS NATION WIDE. I HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF DANCING LIVE WITH EDDIE AND HIS MUSICIANS. IT WAS MAGICAL! THIS ALBULM IS PERFECT FOR USE IN DANCE INSTRUCTION OR FOR PARTY PERFORMANCES. I WAS GLAD TO FIND THIS CLASSIC AMERICAN DANCE ORIENTALE ALBULM BY MR KOCHAK. IT IS LOVELY TO KNOW HIS WORK IS STILL AVAILABLE. WELL WORTH ADDING TO ONES MUSIC LIBRAY.

    Not what I expected

I did not find the music on this CD particularly good for dancing. The violin is pretty for a while, but spends too much time in the upper registers for my taste.
