Angela Valentine's story continues in,
Book Two ~ Peach State of Mind ~

After her journey to her home state of Virginia in Book One ~ Flight of a Valentine~
Angela returns to where her heart and soul live, Atlanta Georgia. Glad to be home from a much needed break from her life and the realization some things never change regarding family ties and expectations. And for this first time in her life, she knows and understands it's okay to be who, what and how you are and love yourself for that.

After returning to Atlanta, Angela realizes she has been blind to more aspects of her life than she originally expected. After more than a few issues are brought to her attention, Angela no longer feels the need to take flight from the situations she cannot control, but to stand and start fighting to get her life back in order again.

Honesty hurts in more ways than one; sometimes we have to hurt ourselves in the process of finding and fighting for who we are, even if it means hurting other people in our fight for understanding your own journey in finding peace and life balance.

Unexpected guests, sensual pleasures along with back stabbing friendships are on the forefront in this story. Confrontation is an issue no one likes, but is sometimes needed to see beyond the smoke and mirrors people feel safe living behind. After all who needs to live a life of lies and deceit? There is an old saying "The truth shall set you free." Even though we all know the truth can and will crush you in its wake.

Editorial Reviews

Amazon - Savannah Rae
Well, this one has it all from friendship, love, lust and betrayal to hopefully healing. Oh, and let's not forget the deliciously steamy sex! Angela is in for more bullshit when she picks her life back up in Atlanta. Where the first book seemed to focus on family drama, this one was more centered around friendships and working relationships and I think the hurt in these stung me even worse than the family stuff did. Boone is still as swoonworthy as ever! There's a lot of emotion in the story and

Meet the Author

I have loved to read for as long as I can remember. So when I decided to write my first book I took all of my favorite aspects of the books I loved and combined them all into my stories. A little Romance, life issues most people can relate to on some level and sensuality along with a healthy dose of humor. These stories are loosely based of my own journey in life thus far. I think of my writing as great stories colliding with provocative, lustful adult situations and adult emotions.

Angela was born in a small town located in the mountains of Virginia. At the young age of 18, she packed her car and headed for Atlanta, Georgia. Along Angela's journey she has accomplished many of her life goals she had set for herself. A successful career in the Hair Industry (20+ yrs.)Including owning a Hair Studio, several acknowledgements in mass publications for her talents in the industry. Now Angela has achieved another one of her "Life Goals" of becoming a published writer. Angela writes about relatable issues in a real world. And has always lived her life by the motto "You only get one shot at this life, make it count. When my time is up, I want to slide into home with a big smile saying what a ride, what a wild ride."
