Overview

The year is 1715. One of the largest maritime disasters of the Spanish colonial era created havoc for so many. And then, incredibly, was forgotten about. A hurricane destroyed 11 galleons sailing through the Bahama Channel along the Florida coastline. Literally, tons of gold, silver, and jewels were strewn across the ocean floor. The powers of kings and queens were lost. Dreams and hopes of passengers disappeared with the shrieking winds. Lives were lost. Cook or Captain, young or old, they drowned in frothy salt water and washed ashore.

A few survivors evolved into leaders. The human spirit perseveres. It always does. After all, God gave the Americas to Spain, so decreed Pope Alexander VI.
