    Adventure on the High Seas

Jesse got separated from her father in New Orleans when she was eight years old. In an attempt to find him, she went back to the ship they'd been on, but he was not there and eventually the ship was taken over by pirates. To save her life, the captain cut her hair and told her to pretend to be a boy, a role she played for ten years!

Despite a few minor slow spots, this is a book full of adventure and fun. What I loved about it was that even when I thought we were at the Happily Ever After moment, there was no way to guess what would happen next.

Jo has produced a book that will capture your heart and keep you guessing. Jesse is a true kiss ass heroine and Dulac will make you believe in heroes!
