Meet the Author

I am the author of the young adult novellas Ghost Tales and A Pixie Called Pudding, as well as the follow up novel, A Pixie Called Pudding: The Siren’s Song.I grew up in Sioux City, Iowa and continue to live there to this day. I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Briar Cliff University in 2008 and a master’s degree in Management Information Systems from Bellevue University in 2010. So, if you’re wondering why many of my characters have an interest in science and technology, wonder no more! When I’m not writing, I’m a fan of biking, skiing (when I’m not in Iowa, anyway), and have been known to love sci-fi television and video games a bit too much.To anyone who has read any of my stories, you have my sincerest thanks. I appreciate that you took time out of your day (and perhaps money out of your wallet) to spend with me and the odd people that I dream up. Thanks again, and stay tuned for more!

A great adventure, but more for girls. An easy read, but very enjoyable. A story about friendship and courage.

I read this in less an 4 hours and it was pretty good. I enjoyed the plot. This book is different than most of the books I've read, but not in a bad way. The ideas were new to me, and I hope the next book comes out soon. The ending sort of left me hanging, but not to badly. In summery I liked the book but it could have been a bit better if it was a little longer. The story was short to to me, but it was also a good story. If I could I'd give it 4.5 stars. Pretty good book.

At 64 3/4 years old, I enjoyed this light read. This is definately a teen book with amazing integration of magic, mecanics, science, problem solving, team work, etc. I think that boys will like the mechanical components and see how every boy has problems with girls and their own feelings. I think that girls will love the fantasy with a female hero. What a pleasure to read. I hope this inspires more of our youth to read. There is so much to be gained from reading. AND READING CAN BE FUN!!!!!

Oh my gosh, this is an amazing book! I love stories like this! I love stories about fantisies like this! Pixies are really fun to read about, and I can totally relate to Pudding. I am a sciencey person, and not exactally everybody likes that about me. I have fun friends that love to go on adventures! In this book, you never really know what is going to happen next! A whole bunch of the things that happen in this book, I would have never guessed would happen. I totally recomend this book, but I suggest that you not read this unless you are going to get the next book because there is (at least to me) a really big cliffhanger at the end!
