Overview

“Davy’s battle with cancer was long and hard. But I witnessed in him the power of faith to overcome all things. He never lost his faith or his commitment to Christ even in the darkest moments. Davy was a living testimony of the truth that we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength.”

-Dr. Bill Wilks, Pastor, NorthPark Baptist Church, Trussville, AL

“This is a unique book. Very few patients with bladder cancer have come forward with their experience. Davy Campbell’s tale is remarkable in that he has experienced a very wide range of treatments, each with their own dangers, complications and successes. His story is one of triumph but also a reminder of how much further we need to go before all patients with this disease have a happy outcome.”

-Graeme B. Bolger, M.D., Comprehensive Cancer Center, UAB

“...Davy's resilient positive attitude about his condition was always inspiring to me. Others would have quit working and stayed at home. But Davy's example of continuing to work, helping others and providing for his family was a true inspiration to me. I always had a great deal of respect for Davy, but I have gained a greater appreciation of his character and desire to help others.”

-Larry W. Dean, Nurse Practitioner, Urology, UAB
