A Place in the Sun
A lion meets a lone leopard resting in the trees away from him.
The lion wants to fight but the leopard resists.

Soon the mask comes off:

"Why don't you come down and fight like a leopard;
you, the strongest pound for pound creature on the Serengeti."

""No," the leopard responds, "go pick on somebody your own
size."

With all the bullying and harassment in today's schools, I just
thought this was the most poignant way to show that is up to
the person to decide if and when he/she is going to have to
fight. There is no honor in fighting, just an ego boost if you
either annihilate or outlast the other person/fellow creature.

Everything else is just clique gossip (agreed to lies) to pass
time. This, with the help of Aesop, is what drives my writing.
