A Possible Socialization Schedule Unleashed (Dog Training General, #2)

Socialization isn't just for pups—it's for every dog, and I've got the grit to prove it. With fifty years of dog socialization training, I've turned reactive dogs into rockstars and prepped service dogs for public access. A Possible Socialization Schedule is your 32-week game filled roadmap to dog confidence building, whether they're 8 weeks or 8 years.

Over 85 million U.S. dogs are under-socialized, fueling aggression and fear—let's fix that with play-based dog training. Games like Ready, Rover, Go! and Show Me The Money—plus sensory training for dogs—build focus, self-control, and trust, offering reactive dog solutions for walks, thunder, baths, and grooming.

From vetted playdates to service dog preparation, you'll make every space safe—my current and past dogs (Chesovy, Temperance, Micah, Brynda) showed me how. Dog behavior stories like Dru's park crash (Fate Steps In) and Roo's bowl breakthrough (Resource Guarding) bring it to life, while troubleshooting tips keep you on track. This 80-page guide is for owners and trainers ready to ditch drills for play.

About the Author

These words from a client and good friend, tell it all.

I don't do this often but now that I know my friend has this on Amazon - would like to recommend her to you. She had years of experience in training animals but mostly dogs. She started specializing in service dogs several years ago. Her method (non aversive and reward based) had proven successful for those who do the work consistently and well.

Jamie does not just train dogs - she teaches them (and you) how to think things through. She became known internationally as being the first successful trainer for people with MCAS (Mast Cell Activation Syndrome), allowing them to lead a more normal life.

But whatever your specific needs are - she probably has a program designed to help you. If not - she can create it designed to your specific needs. I have a few years of personal experience with her training via foster dogs, and then my own service dog and during this training we became friends.
