Leading six hard-ass men

Alexa's Travels
Apocalyptic fiction
An impossible quest
& A Haunting new vision

Years after the nuclear war of 2012 has devastated the world, a group of survivors have come out of the radiation zones in the West. On an impossible quest to find those who came before them, these warriors follow the remnants of Safe Haven and let nothing stand in their way.

Safe Haven: A place of safety and light, of honor and duty. A Refuge for survivors.
A place of darkness and death, where murder and magic go hand in hand.

Alexa is a leader of men. She culled her companions from the dwindling herd of mankind because she sensed they alone might have the strength to make the journey and each battle fought at her side tightens their bonds. For Alexa, their quest is about more than finding a safe place. It's about the search for her missing family.

Editorial Reviews

David Bryan
It's very hard to find a female hero that's believable. Most of them are fine until the action starts and then you just get disappointed. Not this book. Another great story from Ms. White. Loking forward to reading more of her work.
Lorina McKinsey
"It's like a short western fantasy set in the apocalypse, where the rules are gone and true justice is handed out in lead. A great ride."
Debbie Griffith
"Alexa is not your average young woman, she was born with gifts. Those gifts definitely come in handy when she and her group have to fight some zombies (AKA-mountaineers). She kicked some zombie butt! I typically don't like books with zombies in them, but I truly didn't mind them in this book. I'm looking forward to reading the next in the series."

Meet the Author

I'm Angie. (Pen name)

Little pleases me more than to explore the dark fantasy and horror stories in my head. Knowing other people like them, is second only to the magic of this new career I've chosen. As a die-hard Cincinnatian, I much prefer writing to the stresses of being a city Taxicab dispatcher. Thank you for making my dreams possible, and for looking at this page!

Now that the pleasantries are out of the way, lets you and I take a little stroll. There's a story I need to let out of its cage and I think it's one you need to hear. It's about the end of the world as we know it...

Note: Many of my books were removed until the new editors, Kim and Sharon, and I, could get them into top shape. It was clear from the reviews, that we had a lot of work to do. We began in Feb. As of Oct., we now have 9 of 11 titles finished and back online for your reading pleasure. The remaining books will return as soon as we finish them.

I couldn't find one thing I didn't like about this ebook

The Mountaineers was a short novel that I found had the capability to entice an array of readers, from those into the magical appeal, all the way to zombie fanatics and beyond. The story is set in the year 2017 and women have begun to rule the planet, with a vast power backing them. The Earth has been ravaged by nuclear war and the group of survivors are searching for the ones that traveled this path before them in search of safety. Led by a lone female, the warriors head toward the ocean, facing undead creatures, madness stricken animals, as well as their own battles within and mother nature to boot.

There is always a moment when reading a book that you can tell whether or not the book is worth finishing. You never know when your gonna realize it. It may be the beginning sentence or the ending paragraph. This is one short novel I wished was a full novel by the time I finished it. I couldn't find one thing I didn't like about this ebook.

ok 29 pages long including short for next book

If you read the other 3 Safe Haven books you would find 2 duplicate chapters from The Survivors editing sucks but its 0.99 worth it idk would rather have not bought it to read stuff from other books. Author has a good story but this is a jip.

This was more of a pre-view than a book. Might have been good if it was longer.
