Overview

Tressa is a fly girl accustomed to the lavish lifestyle that Lucky, her possessive, deranged baby daddy, has provided for her. In order to keep her high standard of living, she has excused so many of his unforgivable actions. It is not until he pulls off the ultimate stunt that she realizes that no mink coat, car, house, or any amount of money is worth her peace of mind.

Tressa leaves everything behind, with the exception of her street savvy, and sets out to make a life of her own. It’s not long before she finds herself making the transition from public figure to public assistance. Every day of her life seems like one drama-filled chapter after another, from baby daddy drama to backstabbing friends and various unforgettable men she sorts through and disposes of. At times she struggles and scrambles just to make ends meet, and other times she stands tall and holds her own.

Nikki Turner, the bestselling author of A Hustler’s Wife, will once again take you on a safari through the jungle of the fierce and stormy streets, leaving readers on the edge of their seats, begging for an encore.

    Mind blowing

This book was awesome! Just when you thought you had it figured out, the scenario changed. The truth is some women live this life everyday, hoping for a way out. The author did a great job. Can't wait to read part two.

    Bad

Nikki Turner should be ashamed for this, there were so many errors, especially with tense. She would switch between past and present tense in the middle of a sentence. There were a few spelling errors. I found the plot bland and predictable, and Tressa was so boring that I found myself rooting for Khalil. The ending was unrealistic as well as sooo predictable. I saw it coming from the beginning of the book.

If you have a Nook Color Tablet, the print is extremely small and difficult to read. However reading this book was very slow but once it got going became pretty good.

    great

i think this book was amazing.. alot of people say it was slow but its just the true life that baby mothers deal with. especially baby mothers who were in an abusive relationship. i like this book because she was willing to do just about anything for her twins.. and not once did she call the baby father. this book was good

Project Chick was a intrestin book, matter fact it was the best of the best.

The book was kinda teachin you how people really live in the world. Its just not like a movie that aint none of it true. Its real life. For us people who always had to work are self to death to get where we are now we know its not no game but not the people who had stuff handed to them. Ya'll really dont know what is really going on. When the book started you could think oh she got it good, but once you kept reading it you was like dang she got it rough cause her man cheatin on her and she just had his twins. that must be hard! The middle of the book kept you thinkin is she ever going to find another person cause she messed with a couple of guys but she really didnt date them. At the end she finally found true love and and she knew that she couldnt really trust her friends becuse her friend was doin Lucky. For Lucky he got what he had deserved for so many years for makin his baby mama go thru hell. When I was reading this book it was so hard for me to put it down. But if you really are thinkin if you should buy this book and read it you should cause its worth the money and worth your time.

    A Good Story...

The Story wasn't the best, but it was really good & I'd recommend someone to read it, but not to buy it! It started off good, & then some parts kind of dragged , but overall it was a good story & 'Lucky' got what he deserved at the end, because he made Tressa's life a living hell throughout this story...
