Overview

Vin MacKintosh was alive.

The news dealt Moira MacKenzie the greatest shock of her life. There should have been joy. Rejoicing. Moira should have been thrilled to have the man she’d loved her entire life back, but after five years of mourning, Moira had forgotten one important detail.

She might have loved Vin, but Vin had never loved her back.

Moira had finally chosen to move on with her life and seek a husband and a life of her own when Vin reappeared. Though nothing but a one-sided love in the past, Moira’s friends convince her to give the love of a lifetime one last chance. To give Vin the opportunity to see her as a woman he could love.

Vin is a man tormented by the past and, with little hope that her dreams of true love will be fulfilled, Moira instead offers Vin the friendship he so desperately needs as he integrates himself back into a normal life.

After years as a prisoner of war, Vin MacKintosh returns with a scarred and battered soul. Plagued by guilt and nightmares from his years of torture and torment as a prisoner of war, he must readapt to a world where everyone he knew is a different person and the world a vastly different place.

With everyone he knows pointing out how much he has changed, Vin cannot help but turn to the one person who gives him encouragement and motivation to move on, Moira MacKenzie. As his best friend, Jason MacKenzie’s, younger sister. Vin has known Moira her entire life, her letters during the war provided him comfort and understanding. True friendship. Now that he is back, he needs those things more than ever.

However, Vin finds he cannot continue to look at Moira merely as a friend and little sister any longer. He cannot help but see her as a woman…and one too desirable to resist.

Torn between this new attraction and the guilt he’s been carrying with him for years, Vin fights his attraction to Moira thinking that lust could do nothing but ruin the friendship he needs even more than the truth of her brother’s death might.

What will Vin do when he realizes that what he feels for Moira is more than merely a question of lust?

I dont care what anyone says, angeline's books make you feel amazing, they keep you thinking long after you read the first page and they make you want to know her characters. They are not the cookie cutter characters but they are. I enjoy her writing so much, she does have typos but who cares with a mind like that.

Another moving romance by this author. Tortured Highlander soldier Vin returns after five years of being presumed dead. Moira has loved him forever, but is this enough to help him recover and fight his many demons? I absolutely adore this family and thoroughly enjoyed this book. I can hardly wait for the next one. I do hope that Harry and Fiona get their story. More of Francis and Eve would be great too!

I thoroughly enjoyed the first two books in this series, but this one seems like it was rushed. It is full of punctuation and grammatical errors, making it quite distracting to read. I can't help wondering if the rush to publish outweighed the necessity to have an editor review it. Overall I really enjoy the author's efforts at research, which make the story lines interesting. I look forward to more works by her, but would ask that time be given to a good edit prior to publication. It is needed desperately, and the reason I only gave three stars!

I am halfway through this book, having read the previous "question" books. I am very disappointed in the editing of this one. Constant problem with typos, grammar, words left out, and the sort. Surely someone reads a book before it's published. I'm trying to enjoy the story, but it's so distracting to have all of the errors continually.

Read the others, now I can't decide which is my favorite!

Beautiful, humorous, and torturous love story. Really appreciated the play on PTSD with Vin, which was a great contribution to what our past and present soldiers deal with. Loved the family and friends!

I can't wait to read the rest of her books. The characters are so well written you can't help but feel everything along with them. This is the fourth book in the series. The price was great for such an amazing book.

It made me laugh and cry. As a military wife, I thought it was wonderful. Best of the series yet.

The BEST OF THE QUESTION BOOKS as far as the storyline goes. I loved how the author handled Vin being captured, and held captive for years, losing friends was so real. I served in the military and have friends who had to deal with PTSD. Yes, there is problems with the editing, but as far as the story goes, I loved it. Over 1126 pages, which skipped at 2 or 3 at a time, but it was only $.99 - a very good value. You must read these books in order to fully understand all the cross over character's from each book. I hope Fiona and Harry will get there story soon. On to the 4th book about Abby!

THIS NOVEL HAS IT ALL. ITS FAIRLY LENTHLY BUT IS SO GOOD YOU DONT WANT TO SKIP EVEN ONE SENTENCE ! EXCELLENT WRITING. I PLAN TO GET HER OTHER TWO BOOKS ON OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS AND SAVE THEM FOR SNOWED IN DAYS.

The characters and storylines are wonderful and more than make up for some of the editing issues. The author has a good knowledge of what PTSD symptoms can do to a person and those that love them, yet feel helpless to get them through it.

I love this series. I think she did an amazing job onall the book and even though she wrote the perfect question last read it as the first book. The only problem I have with this book is that it has a lot of errors. I wish they would have edited it better. Cant wait to read Harry's story
