    Definitely a must-read!

A Reasonable Man is a very well written and thought-provoking story. The cover piqued my interest and my curiosity was definitely satisfied by the time I was finished. In fact, I read it twice! The small details the writer includes makes you feel like you are actually there, yet the story moves right along at the perfect pace. You will find yourself reflecting on your own life choices. I will be watching for more stories from this author, Oscar Hughes.

When I read this story, I couldn't help but internalize the mess

When I read this story, I couldn't help but internalize the message and question what my views are about sacrifice, success and pursuing the American Dream.  That is one reason why this story is really good, it makes you think. The story is very well written and demonstrates an honest  viewpoint as the characters discuss the conflicts that arise between happiness and success, when success involves staying in situations that no longer make you  happy. This is a quick and time worthy read that turns a mirror on us as individuals and a society at large as we seek success and chase the ever so elusive dream that we have been told exists. I highly recommend this story!
