Overview

Tired of being walked all over and ignored, Jamie decided that it was time to make something out of her life. She sold her company, signed a contract and was determined to live it up. Only problem, she was a bit of a recluse, painfully shy, kind of clumsy and didn't know the first thing about living it up. Thankfully she has a very sexy, very determined editor to help her along the way.

She was everything he could ever want, popular and in demand, but unfortunately for him the author that he needed to make a name for himself was also a little recluse who wasn't doing what he needed her to do. In order to get her to do what he wants he decides to help her in her little quest for a life and ends up with more than he bargained for.

I did enjoy this quick read. 195 pages. However, the chocolate obsession was quite annoying

I have five words for you "THIS BOOK IS TOTALLY AWESOME"! This book is the second series, be sure to read A Humble Heart first. I have read five of her books so far and have not been disappointed. This book is about an Author just starting out and her handsome editor. This book really draws you in and makes you fall in love with Jamie and Nick. Easy and fun to read. You will fall in love with this book. You will be happy you purchased this book. It has drama, suspence, and heavy heavy hot sex! My cup of tea.....Great story line and this book it one of my favorites..

thankfully this book was only .99 cents; if I had paid more for it I would be kicking myself for spending the money. I have enjoyed some of this author's other books, but this one, a sequel to A Humble Heart was just plain disappointing. the character development was non-existent, and the plot was pretty much a rehash of the previous book. just as melodramatic as the previous book, If I were an English teacher I'd give this one an 'unsatisfactory' for effort. I have read and enjoyed some of her other series, but the 'heart' series is, sadly, forgettable.
