More About This Book

Overview

America finds itself in a time of crisis. For anyone remotely in touch with the state of our republic, there is a growing sense of dread that whatever is wrong is getting much worse much faster. Voters clamor for "change," and politicians promise to deliver, but does anyone really know what changes are necessary, or even what changes they want? Is America still the land of opportunity? Is it still the land of the free? Do we still know what freedom is? This book attempts to answer those questions. To do so, it goes back to the beginning to rediscover the meaning behind our most sacred words, and the truth about our natural rights. The answers that this book provides will surprise even the most informed reader, and will reveal the long-forgotten secret behind America's former prosperity and greatness.

    A must read

I bought this book for my husband's Father's Day gift. He finds it exhilarating and illuminating on what our country's forefathers really intended our government to be and encompass. You have a greater appreciation of what extraordinary men the founding fathers were -- how they thought through the ramifications of what they were establishing so we could truly live free without being encumbered by government.

Peter Schiff Recommends A Return to Common Sense

"A well written primer on economics, liberty, and government that even avid Austrians will enjoy. If you have been blinded by government and Wall Street propaganda, "A Return to Common Sense" will help open your eyes. I not only recommend that you add this book to your freedom library, but that you buy a few copies for your friends."
