Dr. Tyra Hodge has worked in Public Education for close to two decades. She made a name for herself as a teacher that works with students with behavior issues. Dr. Tyra is an author, speaker, and TV show host. She also has two other books and brand journals. She also spends time teaching parenting classes through her non-profit Parenting Connections. Her legacy will undoubtedly be helping to shape the next generation through education. Tyra was named SUPERLady of 2018 and Teacher of the Year 2019. Her shine is in her ability to overcome. Although she’s had her share of successes, she has seen difficult days too. She’s a domestic violence survivor. She has spent time homeless and understands what it means to be courageous in facing life’s challenges. When Tyra’s not teaching and advocating, she loves to ride Harleys.
