Meet the Author

George lives with his wife Rebecca in Southern California; they have three daughters. He's a legal article writer by day, and fiction writer (and occasional stage actor) by night. George, after graduating from law school at University of California--Hastings, worked as a litigation attorney for a number of years. This background comes into play in his recent novel, Murder on Retreat. George is presently writing a novel which is also set in the legal world, an environment which is always challenging, often unpredictable, and sometimes dangerous.

Nicely crafted short story. Very enjoyable.

Interesting premise, but ... This short story (about 20pp) reads like the summary of or introduction to a novel. I loved the use of language and descriptive detail. This would have made a great novel.
