Children's Literature - Dr. Judy RowenPeef returns in this book. Santa stops by to visit the bear he delivered last Christmas, and Peef tells Santa about his wonderful year. The text is told in rhyme, which fails to maintain any metrical scheme and is often quite forced. It is also too long for the attention span of the target audience. The illustrations are serviceable, capturing the colorful bear's romps with the boy who owns him.
On Christmas Eve, Santa returns to visit the multicolored teddy bear that he had made by hand the year before and finds him well worn and well loved.

A Silent Night for Peef based on 0 ratings. 1 reviews.
I just purchased this book for myself. It is just as awesome as the first one. It is so heartwarming to read and see what wonderful things Peef and his owner have been doing the last year. Santa wants to repair Peef back to his original condition, but Peef is very happy being worn, torn and dirty. It is an incredible book that captures children's attention with amazement and awe. They can related to Peef with their own teddy bears as Peef tells Santa of all the things he has done this past year. Wonderful, wonderful book!!!!! It will make you smile and cry....
