Amazing Story But Please Read This Book With Caution Honestly, this is probably my favorite anime of all time since it deals with situations that I have personally experienced so it does speak a lot to me. However, I do recommend caution for those who are easily triggered by mentions (and at one point, an actual attempt) of suicide. There are a couple characters, including the main two that the focus is on, who struggle with depression and although the author does handle both subjects in a very respectful and well done manner, again, I still recommend caution for those who do currently have or have gone through with these issues and may be made uncomfortable or triggered by these kinds of subjects. Other than that though, do dive into this story. Apart from the fact that it is going to be made into a series soon, this is a book that has managed to break me down into tears because of just how well written it is. It's a heartwarming story and it's definitely one of the books that I instantly suggest to everyone who asks me what new manga they should try out and have all come to tell me it has also become one of their favorites
i'm not deaf nor have i ever bullied a deaf person but these characters, some of their problems I identify with and I just love this series so much. You watch them grow and struggle with who they are and what they wanna be and it just..it just feels so realistic you know? Everything goes along gracefully. It's something everyone should just read, it reminds us of our humanity, helps us confront our mistakes, and gives inspiration to do better. These characters easily become so vivid, you genuinely find yourself upset or happy with what someone does. It's a weird sensation but it's also great. This is definitely a manga that stands out from the rest.
This is one of the best manga ever and one of the best stories about bullying ever. There should be a copy of this manga in the library of every school in the country.
