“A breathtaking new epic fantasy series. Morgan Rice does it again! This magical sorcery saga reminds me of the best of J.K. Rowling, George R.R. Martin, Rick Riordan, Christopher Paolini and J.R.R. Tolkien. I couldn’t put it down!”
--Allegra Skye, Bestselling author of SAVED

In A SKY OF SPELLS (BOOK #9 IN THE SORCERER’S RING), Thorgrin finally returns to himself and must confront his father once and for all. An epic battle occurs, as two titans face each other, and as Rafi uses his power to summon an army of undead. With the Destiny Sword destroyed, and the fate of the Ring in the balance, Argon and Alistair will need to summon their magical powers to help Gwendolyn’s brave warriors. Yet even with their help, all could be lost if it were not for a dramatic twist.

Luanda struggles to prevail against her captor, Romulus, as the fate of the Shield hangs in the balance. Reece, meanwhile, struggles to lead his men back up the Canyon walls, with Selese’s help, and their love deepens.

Gwendolyn has her chance for personal vengeance against McCloud, there is great cause to celebrate as the Ring takes vengeance against the Empire. As the new Queen of the Ring, Gwen uses her powers to attempt the difficult task of uniting both MacGils and McClouds for the first time in history, and to begin the epic rebuilding of the land, of her army, of the Silver, of the Legion, and of King’s Court. Gwen will attempt to make her father’s city a more glorious place than he ever dreamed, and in the process, she will seek to find and bring justice to her brother, Gareth.

Tirus must be brought to justice, too, and Gwen must decide how ruthless she will be. A conflict erupts amongst Tirus’ sons, and a struggle for power ensues as Gwen tries to unite the Upper Isles with the mainland of the Ring. And as things settle, the time has finally come for Thorgrin to propose to Gwendolyn, and for them to become husband and wife.

Thor learns more about his mysterious sister, Alistair, and he soon finds himself driven to embark on his greatest quest of all: to seek out his mother, and to learn who he really is. With multiple wedding preparations in the air, with Summer in the air, King’s Court rebuilding, festivals afoot, peace seems to settle back onto the Ring.

But danger lurks in the most unforeseen corners, and all of these characters greatest tribulations may still be yet to come.

With its sophisticated world-building and characterization, A SKY OF SPELLS is an epic tale of friends and lovers, of rivals and suitors, of knights and dragons, of intrigues and political machinations, of coming of age, of broken hearts, of deception, ambition and betrayal. It is a tale of honor and courage, of fate and destiny, of sorcery. It is a fantasy that brings us into a world we will never forget, and which will appeal to all ages and genders.

A SEA OF SHIELDS (BOOK #10 IN THE SORCERER'S RING) is now also available!

This 9th book in the series ended many of the stories that were in the previous 8 books, but as in the previous books also started many new stories and tales to be told. The previous books kept me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what may happen next and this book led to many story lines that I wanted to continue. I wanted to keep reading when the book ended and I was happy to read that just when I thought the series may end it looks like it is beginning anew. There are new enemies for Gwen and Thor, the Ring is not safe and the characters are spread out over many kingdoms that are hostile and will start new wars and there is a more in this continuing great story to tell. I cannot wait for the next installment.

    Good Story ended too soon

This was another good book by Morgan. I tied up a few loose ends and started a whole lot more. Thor's current quest is going to be totally exciting with the prelude hinted at in this book. Peace is never easy an Gwen has her hands full and prophecies to deal with on the side.

looking forward to the next book.

    Great books but...

I love this series and couldn't put these books down. However, I think this story should have come to an end. I'm afraid it will lose it's appeal if it continues on and on. Don't get me wrong, I will continue to read them. I just don' t want see the story stretched too thin.

    LOVE, LOVE, LOVE

I am a Fantasy Fanatic, and this series is A-MaZing. Very similar to Game of Thrones, but with far more interesting characters and Creatures! You are drawn into a world never before realized, but realistically imagined. Morgan Rice is simply a genius, and he writes them fast enough that you are left wanting, one after the other, but, the wait is not interminable. I'm up to BOOK 12 and can't wait for 13.

THIS should be a TV series!

on excellent ramble, unfortunately from writer who doesn't know how to finish the story

grab my attention from the start, and after three books I yearn for more, but after nine books, there's always a dramatic conclusion waiting to happen and..... nope no conclusion, the author needs more money and must write another book. it has become drawn out and stagnant and I will not buy another
