    A Snowflake's Chance in Hell

    (3 1/2 stars)

The author of this book sent me an email asking me if I would be interested in reading her story because she enjoyed a review I did on a
holiday romance last year.  I skimmed the summary and decided to give it a try.  I'm not really a fan of romances, but something about this
time of year (I blame it on the holidays and the weather) makes me believe just a little ... and I find myself reading holiday romance
novellas ... and sometimes even enjoying them.

This is a good story.  Quinn is looking for her long-lost brother and shows up in Gunnery Seargent McCaulson's office needing his help.
Gunny needs something to give his life meaning and decides to help her out.  The romance and search for her brother was beautiful and
I thought the ending was great.

My issue was the fact that, after only a day or two, they were already in bed together (with a detailed explanation of what they did, and
sex talk during it that I found really awkward).  For me, it completely took away from the story that was being told and ruined it for me.
Now, I know that a lot of people like that in their romance, so if you don't have a problem with that, then go ahead and give this book a
    read.

Note: I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

MAKING CHRISTMAS WISHES COME TRUE This story has so many levels

    MAKING CHRISTMAS WISHES COME TRUE

This story has so many levels of emotions, from the childhood heartache and pain of losing both parents in a drunk driving crash, to orphan brother and sister being separated, marriage and divorce, a precious daughter and ex-husband killed in an accident and being left alone in the world. Trying to find that missing brother since she was 18 and hitting one dead in after another. With a find lead, going to Florida and meeting Gunnery Sergeant Kevin McCaluson with him agreeing to help her.  Along the way of one dead end after another, she finds herself again. This story has a steamy sex scene and two lost souls finding redemption and new beginnings. Will Quinn find her brother Pete after all these years?
Disclosure: I received a gifted copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.  All thoughts, opinions and ratings are my own.

    Sweet Christmas Romance.
I received the book from the author for an honest review.

This is a short story, packed with a wonderful plot as the author introduced you to her cast of characters. She did an excellent work in making this story believable, and to you, as the reader, to connect with each one. I loved the way the story flowed from one scene to the next without effort.
Both Quinn and Kevin's characters were strong, witty, filled with humor, as they dealt with some issues of the past, and to trust one another was something big for both.
In the beginning they struggled to communicate but once the stage was set and the attraction sparked between them that was not a problem anymore. From the beginning Kevin followed his heart helping Quinn finding her brother; the extended trip that followed brought them closer to each other.
A sweet Christmas romance that makes you believe in the miracle of Christmas, once again.
