Overview

Based on the Author's sixteen combined years of military, law enforcement, and emergency medicine, A Soldier Reborn is a fast-paced action thriller. Filled with accurate language, weaponry, and tactics used by army infantry units and police departments, the novel centers around a secret government program that has successfully completed the first human to human brain transplant. In a world of top-secret goverment assassins, one man must discover his past and expose the truth before it comes back to kill him. Set in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, the book includes graphic shoot-outs, high speed pursuits, and edge-of-your-seat action as it weaves between locations and characters that are all struggling to succeed on their own paths of justice. Described as an easy but very fun read, most readers will finish in two days and have difficulty putting the book down. A Solder Reborn is also the first in a series of books centered around the main character and his pursuit of ultimate justice for those that have wronged him.

Fast paced, kept me on the edge of my seat. Good for those who love action but not scared off by blood and guts . Read it, you wont be sorry.

    Captiving read!

Wasn't sure how this debut novel would read but I was pleasantly surprised! Drama, suspense, adventure, heroic character - the best of all genres. Can't wait for the sequel!

    Must Read. Definite page-turner!!

McCarty's first novel is an amazing story full of suspense and drama. As a stay at home mom, I didn't know If I'd like it. I'm usually reading chick-lit or parenting books. This novel was an excellent escape and I recommend it to anyone who likes to read!!

    Extremely Dead-on

Me, being an individual that has trained with multiple law enforcement agencies in Wyoming, a weapon enthusiast, and someone who has been in military programs since age twelve, am very happy to say that this book is very accurate on all accounts- police procedure, weapons descriptions, as well as military tactics. Needless to say this book was action packed, dramatic, and a fun read (finished it in eleven hours as I couldnt put it down). I loved every bit of A Soldier Reborn for it was easy for me to connect to and would recommend it to anyone, especially to veterans or LEO's. I hope that Mr. Dan Mcarty will be able to find time between patrol and his family to write more on the series.

I purchased the paperback book last year & bought again for my Nook. The story really kept my attention. My understanding is it's the first of a trilogy & am now awaiting the next book.
