It is extremely captivating, what with a kidnapping, immortal boys, and a magical disapearance. Although, I feel as if it was forced out of the author; it seems kind of strained. The story moves along slowly; only around a week passed in this book. What's more: in a week, this much drama and events don't actually occur. This was an okay book, however, it could have been much, much better. I've decided to read Volume Three in this Seven Spell Saga and to see if the author shows any signs of improvement; the author has much more potential that she isn't showing! By the way, Team Tristan!

It's a good storyline just really slow moving.

This is an exciting read for sure! I've read all of Tessa's books and love them! I think that she is a great author but a horrible grammar girl! The lack of punctuation and run-on sentences threw me off little but the text was still understandable. All this author needs is an editor and she's golden. With her amazing characters and fun romance that's clean, Strokes will go far if she simply gets some advice from someones who can take her incredible idea and mold into something even more amazing by adding a few commas and periods.

I am not sure what went wrong here. The story line was good but the writing was awful. First no American girl would ever say LOVELY for everything that was nice to look at, nor ring up or ring off...that is unfortunately only an English writers choice of words making the story seem so...phony. Next what girl in her right mind at 19 or 20 years old gets excited at holding hands...let alone an 800 year old male that has been alone for over a hundred years. The content went on and on and really no where. I could have put all the real content into two chapters of this story rather than two books. It was a lot of wasted writing in them. I know you have to have filler but get real. From my teenage grandson to my daughter and others they all feel this was a story that could have been written by a 12 year old rather than a true writer. My gosh Tessa...come into this century if you are writing about it. I can understand why they are FREE!

Chloe has to stop with the "im so confused and i love 2 guys at once" crap. Pick one already!but the story itself was very complex and well thought out.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SHE JUST FIGURED OUT IN THE SECOND BOOK THAT SHE SHOULD NOT JUST GO AROUND KISSING AND HUGGING BOTH OLIVER AND TRISTAN? WOW CHLOE, YOUR DUMB.

Maybe volume 3 will raise my rating.

At least as good (or better) than the first one. They are both much longer than you think cause there are 2 pages of text for every 1 page number.... But be careful you may find these VERY hard to put down!!

I was a bit disapointed as it still is filled with daily life and most of it tends to be filler to make the book longer. I truely believe this series could have been written in one book.

The Spell Series is 9 books long and I enjoyed every one. They are what I consider "Brain Candy" books you don't have to read but want to. They kept my attention and interest all the way through. I recommend buying them more then one at a time because I just couldn't put them down.

The head in the corner in the picture is freaky. I mean, come on, it could of at less have a body to be less freaky. Not that I am complaining about it though. The head is pretty hawt!!!!#
