    more from this reviewer

A wonderful gift of positive distinctions - everyone should read this.

A wonderful thing happens when you realize that you have been given the gift of words, of distinction, of a way to express what you used to think is difficult to express. When this happens you go: AH! now I can say it, I have the language for expressing it!, I can now tell it, communicate it, and feel that I am understood. This little book does exactly that, with clear yet gentle, hearfelt and happy words. It is a message for EVERYONE, not only to people who live with proximity to adoption. Yet, adopting parents and adopted kids would benefit most. I am extremely impressed and touched, and recommend it wholeheartedly.

One of the Best Adoption Books I've seen!

There are a handful of adoption books I purchased for my daughter, but this one is special. The story of Mr. and Mrs. Kisses is heartwarming--and I see it has also helped my daughter feel more comfortable asking questions about her own adoption. She now picks up the book and looks at the pictures with a bit of pride. It's very sweet. Thank you for writing this beautiful story.

    Snappy Story and Lavish Illustrations!

I was adopted as a baby. Aunt Lisa gave me this book as a gift for my birthday. I like the story and the pictures. It was a fun book to read. Mommy and daddy say this book should be added to the "kid-tested list of fabulous children's books about adoption." - Reviewed by Ryan McCarthy, Age 4
