All her life, Lia Kane has dreamed of being a fiction writer. A chronic overachiever, Lia spent way too much time in college and graduate school and used up all of her creativity on writing term papers and silly stuff like that. After graduating with two masters degrees and a mountain of student loan debt that she'll be paying off for the rest of her life, Lia worked for 15 years in a demanding 9 to 5 job that required a great deal of technical and professional writing, leaving little time for leisure writing. In the height of the economic recession, her position was cut at work. She took it as an invitation from the universe to stay home and write fiction.
Which is exactly what she's doing now from her home in coastal North Carolina, and is loving every minute of it.
Lia thanks you for stopping by her blog. She would love to hear from you.
