Overview

Come back to Grandberry Falls in this prequel novella to Never Tell Your Dreams Before Breakfast, and spend a little time getting to know Hazel Greenlee and her bunch!

Maggie Greenlee can’t wait for the Greenlee traditions to start, especially the annual ornament exchange.
Only things don’t go as planned once Maggie announces to the Greenlee clan that she’s engaged to Grady Cohen, one of the wealthiest bachelors in New York City.
There are two problems. One, Hazel Greenlee, Maggie’s granny and Grandberry Falls’ local matchmaker, has already determined that Maggie is going to marry Mayor Mitch Dozier. And two, Grady thinks the superstitious beliefs that have ruled Maggie’s life, are child like.
With Grady deliberately breaking every superstitious tradition, and Granny Hazel pushing Maggie in the arms of Mitch Dozier, Maggie isn’t sure she’s going to survive Christmas in Grandberry Falls.

Editorial Reviews

This is the first time I've ever read this author. Since it was a novella, it didn't take me long to finish. I found myself laughing at the superstition in the book. I could picture me throwing salt over my shoulder. I especially like the different genres I found in this short little gem: women's fiction, mystery, and romance. It was a nice refreshing, clean Christmas read. I actually went back and bought the author's other novels in this Grandberry Falls series.

I enjoyed getting to know more about the Mayor of Grandberry Falls and his history with the Greenlees. Hazel Greenlee is going to be a handful in the upcoming novel Tonya Kappes talks about in the end of A Superstitious Christmas. Plus the family traditions was so much fun to read about. This is the time of the year I love to read great Christmas family stories and this hit every aspect of that.
WAY TO GO!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR YOUR CHRISTMAS LIST!!
