About the Author

Nikki was raised in an abusive household with parents who were drug addicts. She witnessed things that a child should never have to see. Unfortunately she followed her parents path in a sense by not realizing the abusive signs her new lover was showing. She went through thirteen years of domestic violence and many other tribulations before realizing there was an escape from it all. Nikki is a Born Again Christian, married to Avery, and has three beautiful children, and a story that will give faith to all the people dealing with domestic violence.

I am going to say that this book has a very engaging situation in my opinion this book would open the eyes of other readers who have been in this kind of situation or have not seen it before because it shows that no matter what a mother can figure out how to get out of an abusive situation. No matter what God fights your battles..

Highly recommended. I could not put this story down from the start, it was very engrossing and engaging. This story follows the tale of a mother suffering from extreme abuse at the hands of those that should be protecting her. The subject matter is deep and raw, but it is something many women deal with and suffer from alone.
