Garth Williams has created beautiful animal illustrations of a wide variety of animals, and with MacPherson has presented a good comparative learning tool for toddlers. How various animals use their tales and why those tails are so different is clearly and humorously presented. I read this to my 18 month old grandson who was fascinated by the illustrations.
