Very enjoyable. Not her best story, but still very good.

Very sweet story, not much to it. But it is a short story not a full novel. I would have liked more.

It is a good example of the ancient Greek Myths about the origins of the Greek gods & Goddesses. It is amusing and entertaining. A good quick read, with a few unexpected plot twists.

An enjoyable addition to the Tales of the Five Hundred Kingdoms. It's especially recommended for those who enjoyed The Sleeping Beauty.

Persephone and Hades get tangled up with a couple from Norse mythology, Brunnhilde and Leopold.  Hilarity ensues. I adore any retelling of Greek mythology, and am a big fan of Mercedes Lackey's work. This has her usual light, humorous touch, unexpected twists , and yet there were places it sagged a little, or the language felt repetitive.  I still enjoyed it a lot, especially the way that Leopold, the mortal, turned the gods into HIS servants. It's a good read, just not one of the best from this author.
