Overview

Giselle Mendoza never imagined she would run into a man that would make her question every aspect of her life. But that’s exactly what happens when she meets Weston Taylor at a charity event. He’s intelligent, breathtakingly attractive, fifteen years her senior and completely off limits. Wes is the sort of man that Giselle tries avoids at all cost. She’s had her heart broken before and getting involved with him will only lead to trouble. So why does she find it so hard to say no?

Weston “Wes” Taylor has thought nonstop about Giselle Mendoza since the night he met her. Giselle is very reluctant to allow him the chance to get to know her better even though it’s clear that they are compatible. Unfortunately she disappears unexpectedly, leaving him with no way to contact her. As fate would have it, he runs into Giselle again a few weeks later after leaving a late business meeting. Once the elevator doors close, Wes makes Giselle a very tempting proposal. As he awaits her answer, Weston realizes that he can’t let Giselle out until she says yes.

Meet the Author

Stephanie Morris enjoys creating a story that combines a sensual energy with a captivating storyline. Sometimes her heroines have an edgier persona to them and sometimes they are of a softer essence. But all the time, her heroines are like real women, just trying to make a living and keep on going no matter what challenges life brings them. In Stephanie’s opinion, there is nothing like curling up with a good book that you can’t put down, and she is addicted to writing them.

    A Decent Read...

I would have rated the book much higher, but for the editing. The misspelled words, dropped words, and even one of the main character's name changed on one page which caused a bit of confusion for me. Giselle and Weston's story is sweet, although it took Giselle an inordinant amount of time to see how good she and Wes were together. For me, the most difficult part was the editing; if it were just a word or two I would not harp on it, but there were so many it interrupted the flow of the book. As curious as I am to know the stories of her friends, I believe I will pass.
