By far this book has the most touching love story written in words. I reccommend this piece of literature to everyone.
No one will be able to read this book and come away without saying, "My Lord, I give my life to you just like Sue and Kenny did." Not only were these words the experience of a true love story, but also the true love that a young couple had for the Lord.
Most Christian literature starts out with how terrible one the characters is and how great this person turns into thru the finding of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, but not this love story. These characters are in love from the beginning to the end and both are committed to the Lord 100%. It was their faith that carried them to the end of one's life and how the other survived after this tragedy. As you see, not many men at the age of 28 die from cancer and leave a wife 24 years old to carry on raising two small children age four and under.
This true story has to appeal to anyone who loves tennis and also has experienced true love. In this story they go hand in hand because both of these events occurred with Sue and Kenny in this small town in the state of Kentucky.
Most love stories are eventful in large cities where the different settings are able to attract the reader. In this story all the events are local in one small town. Sue and Kenny both grew up in the small town of Pikeville, Ky. Most people have never even heard of this community. What goes on in a small town is everyone's information which according to this book happened to this lovely couple.
I would reccommed this piece of literature to anyone to wittness the love, trials, tragedies and eternal love for the Lord this young couple had, and Sue still has.
