Andrew X. Pham is an independent writer, journalist, culinary professional, and aerospace engineer (UCLA, 1990). His poem A Vision 9/11, which is an architectural design rendered in prose, aired on NPR (17 Oct. 2001) and subsequently inspired multiple designs of the WTC, including the original winning design by Daniel Libeskind. Pham is the author of Catfish and Mandala, The Eaves of Heaven, and A Culinary Odyssey. He is a Whiting Writer and a Guggenheim Fellow. He is the winner of the Kiriyama Prize and a NBCC Award Finalist. His books have been on six Top Ten Books of the Year lists. He lives and farms on his homestead on the Mekong River in Southeast Asia and can be found at www.andrewxpham.com
