Fun lighthearted and a delight to read. Jasper Fforde takes you into classic novels and re-introduces you to beloved characters in a way you'd never expect. He allows you a bit a cart blanche with your imagination about how they would behave if they knew you were reading the story. You have to be a little loose with paradoxes and flexible imagination but it's so fun to explore and see what he has up his sleeve that it's hard to resist the next and next and next. Thursday is written with such a believable response to her unbelievable situations you find yourself sucked in. Perhaps one of the best things is that Fforde gives credit to readers throughout his novels so you KNOW he writes for us.

I love Jasper Fforde. It is a specific type of humor, though.

Althought I have not finished all five books yet this is an awesome fantasy for people that get totally lost in books. So much fun sarcasm. Can't wait to rad more books by this author.
