Based on a TRUE story.

Danielle Pires's life is going well. She has a boyfriend who wants to marry her and is building a reputation as a talented and hard-working interior designer. Keen to expand her portfolio, Danielle is delighted by a request to breathe life back into the Victorian Mansion that handsome Scott Jordache is renovating.
Her parents, meanwhile, have organised a surprise Caribbean cruise to give her a much-needed break.

Danielle sets sail only to discover Scott aboard the same ship, but mysteriously travelling under a pseudonym. Intrigued, she feels torn between mistrust and being drawn in by his charm.

Should she let herself fall for Scott or return to the security of the man she left at home?

Editorial Reviews

Sandy Penny
I felt I got to know the characters better as the book went on, and that was a plus for me, that my relationship with the characters developed as theirs did. I hardly ever give a 5 star rating, so a 4 is really good for me. I will definitely read more of Mel Comley's work.
Dana Taylor
"A Time to Heal" is the perfect title for this novella. Two wounded people--one physically, one emotionally brought together by fate to work out their healing.

Meet the Author

I am a British author. I moved to France around ten years ago, and that's when I turned my hobby into a career. I'm fortunate to be represented by New York agent Richard Curtis.

I share my home with two crazy dogs that like nothing better than to drag their masterful leader (that's me) around the village.

I hope you enjoy reading my books, especially the Justice series: Cruel Justice, Impeding Justice, Final Justice, Foul Justice and the newest addition, Guaranteed Justice. Ultimate Justice is due out in Feb 2013.

zero stars, couldn't like or respect either character

want my .99 cents back. truly an amateur attempt on the 1st short story, kept reading to see how bad the story could get and it did. no attempt to write a love scene. not bothering with the 2nd book or this author again.

    Lame

A pretty lame plot that was poorly executed. There were several plot points either abandoned or barely expanded on, which is a shame because thats where it could of been interesting. Overall poorly written

    Loved these stories

I loved this series. Just the right amount of everything. Just wish the last brother's story would have been included.
