I love this second book of mini stories Spring Vacation Collection. The stories are long enough to introduce characters and have a plot but short enough for a fun one evening read. I am familiar with several of the authors in this collection, and their stories do not disappoint!
I really liked Heather Moores, "Picture Perfect" story. Its book two of her "Aliso Creek Novella" series, but the books don't have to be read together or even in order to get to know the characters. I was a little surprised with the steamier kissing scenes because I'm use to very clean christian fiction books, but there wasn't any sex scenes so it was still clean reading! I loved the little romance story and triangle with Gemma. I won't give the end of the story away, but it will leave you saying "awwww, that was a great ending!"

This is a very enjoyable book full of six well-written and fun short stories. Each one is very unique, and most importantly, clean romances with awesome characters. I was quickly taken into each story with their fun plots and spring settings. As I was reading each story, I was sure it was my favorite, then I would start the next one, and it became my new favorite. Each story has its share of great kisses. The kiss in Heather Moore's Picture Perfect... WOW!
5 out of 5 stars. As you finish each story, you will be happily wanting more. I can't wait for Summer Wedding Collection in May.

This book contains six short stories from different authors so you could think of it as a sampling platter of authors, all with their own "flavor" of writing. I read work from authors I've never heard of before and after finishing the book I'm very interested in reading more from all of the authors. I found it hard to put down any of the stories while reading them. One of the positives to having a book of short stories is you can take a break before starting the next one...a great advantage for a mother of three! The stories all have enough romance to keep the reader engaged, but also leave plenty to the imagination. Great read!

Truly enjoyable. These authors have taught me to appreciate novellas. Clean romance with just just a glimpse of the relationship. Enough to see how the characters overcame obstacles that were keeping them apart. A peek into their emotions. A taste of true love.
I was drawn to this book so that I could read Heather Moore's "Picture Perfect." For me this was the 5th of her Aliso Creek Novellas. They can be read in any order though. I was so excited to read Gemma's story. I think her story is my favorite! She and Drew had been best friends for so many years. They had each been through many relationships. I loved watching them take tentative steps toward a more romantic relationship between each other.
The other authors in this book did not disappoint either. A spring vacation is the perfect setting to tell a short story. In "Moonlight Kiss" Josi S. Kilpack tells a touching story about a young mom who rarely takes time for herself, but made the exception for the company retreat. She learns about herself as she explores new relationships.
Each story in this collections made me smile. I like to read one each evening before I turn in for the night. A sweet little something to help me fall asleep with a sigh.

I love these collections of Short Romance Stories. I have read The Winter Collection and The Summer Wedding Collection.
Each of these stories is short and therefore the conflict is resolved without too much trouble. But that is what I like about these collections. They provide a quick, happy story.
Sometimes when I am feeling stressed, it is hard for me to concentrate on a book. I can't seem to focus on it long enough to remember what I read. That is when these collections are perfect for me. I can sit, read, and be happy for a few minutes. And then go on to being stressed again. This collection is like my own mini vacation.
Warnings: Heavy kissing in some of the stories
I would let my 15 year old read this book based on cleanliness, however, most of the characters are in their later 20's and I don't think she would identify with their circumstances.

These books were wonderful, and so nice to read a quick one here or there when I had time. I liked some of them more than others, but it also had to do with the author, I think. I loved getting a taste for each author and their style. You will really enjoy this collection! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
