CHAPTER 1

A TURKEY GONE WILD!

Farmer Bob realized that it was nearing the month of November, and it was the right time and place to gather some things for a wondrous Thanksgiving feast. So off he went in his old, red pickup truck to the local market inside of the town square, where he began searching vigilantly for a banquet that was fit for a king.

After gathering all his ingredients with pride, he left the market and headed back to the farm to show off his wares which consisted of: some candles that he was out of; a new suit and tie and, for his wife, a new dress; some red apples to bake four pies with; and two already self-made cakes. Oh, and not worth mentioning, one teed-off, red belly turkey with an attitude problem, and a pain that he wanted to get off his chest.

"All eyes on me! All eyes on me!

All eyes on me! All eyes on me!"

The young turkey shouted out as he strutted out of the farmer's pickup truck. "Why don't you all just take a picture of me? Better yet, shove it up your nip and tuck!"

"All eyes on me!" he howled as he approached one of the farmer's cows. "What's your problem with me, grass eater? Speak up and I'll knock you out!"

Unaware of the young turkey's presence, the cow stopped to look down; and with great surprise, he began to laugh. "Now aren't you the little butter ball sent from heaven!" mooed the cow. "But if I were you, I'd shut my mouth. For you don't have too many days left with that attitude, I have no doubt."

"Well, all eyes on me, I see!" grumbled the young turkey. "Better yet, all eyes on you! You're nothing but a slab of ground hamburger meat, and in this, you know what I say is true." And with that said, the cow shook his puzzled head; and the young turkey went on his way, huffing and puffing through the barnyard, pissing animals off the entire day.

"All eyes on me! All eyes on me!

All eyes on me! All eyes on me!"

"All eyes on me, hog!" said the turkey to the creature, who was watching him from within his pen. "You have a lot of nerve and gall to look down on me, fat boy! You with your double Ds and triple eight chins."

The hog oinked without hesitation, which startled the young turkey. "I don't need to pretend to look at you. I'll take it to your face! So you had better move along quietly before you catch a case, be it black or blue."

"Well, all eyes on me, I see!" flurred the young turkey. "Better yet, all eyes on you, Hog! You're nothing but a five-hundred-fifty-pound heart attack waiting to happen, so what's up with that, Hog!"

Once again feeling the need to complain, the young turkey ran off.

He confronted a horse, who was blind of course, and his own reflection in a window pane.

He confronted a squirrel for eye balling his girl and an alley cat in the pouring rain.
