Mel Hannigan is a slick, savvy New York City commercial photographer who knows what she's doing and where she's going...that is, until she heads upstate for a little drive time and ends up with her sports car in a ditch. That's where Helmut Engle finds her. He is a solid, down to earth farmer. In spite of their differences, Mel and Helmut give in to an irresistible magnetic attraction and share an exciting, intimate interlude. She returns to the city but can't get him out of her mind. She attempts to drag him into her world by the scruff of his red neck and he tries to remodel his world to suit her.

A Twist of Fate is a sexy and funny romance. I loved the two main characters. Each has to step way out of their comfort zone to connect with the other. I could fall in love with Helmut. He is soooo lovable and innocent when he's out of his element. And Mel just keeps getting in deeper and deeper. And I loved the secondary characters too. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and hot read.

I loved this story of opposites attract. Farm Boy meets City Girl sparks fly, and they each try to fit in the other one's world. Sexy hero and sassy heroine tha were very well written. I only wish the ending was a tad longer or had an epilogue.
