Meet the Author

Linda Lee Rathbun was born in the United States and attended the University of Washington in Seattle. After a nomadic childhood that formed a restless spirit, Linda was very happy to move to Australia with her husband. There, they travelled whenever they could, and this eventually led to hundreds of travel articles for magazines around the world, and to four touring guides of Australia.
While traveling, Linda loves nothing more than to find wonderful locations to set her romance novels in. Emerald Destiny, set in Lamington National Park, is as romantic as a locale can get. Then again, Lord Howe Island, where Magic Surrender is set, is also hopelessly dreamy. A Twist of Fate is set in Melbourne, Linda's hometown for many years.
Linda's other books are also about Australia. Natural Wanders in Australia is a travel memoir of a yearlong tour of that country in 2000. Tjuringa is a supernatural suspense novel set in Australia's Central Desert.
Linda loves nothing more than to travel, and with so much to see in the United States and the rest of the world, she will no doubt be wandering the rest of her life.

    Disappointing abrupt end.....Grrrrr

This book is well written but, just when you think you are reaching a key point after 199 pages of build up, it abruptly ENDS! I HATE it when books do this without stating on the cover or in the description that this is Book 1 or part of a series! Where is the rest of the story? It's not on B&N or Smashwords. Author's only lose repeat readers when they do this bait and switch. Even though I would like to find out what happens between the main characters, I will not come back.

This book was a good read just as her other book Emerald Destiny. For free books that are better than some books I have paid for I say the author did a good job. The lenght of her books are over 300 pages how can you go wrong?
